Hello, happy weekend. I hope you have had pleasant week days. Now that it is 5pm on a Friday afternoon it is officially time to play some games. So, what game craic do you have planned for this weekend?

I plan on sitting down and hammering through some levels on Star Wars: The Old Republic. It’s been a month today since it was released and I am a measly level 22 so I’ve got to rectify that. At the moment I’m on Nar Shaddaa and I’m not enjoying it very much. Not the game, just the planet. So far I’m actually really very impressed with SWTOR, obviously with it being an MMO everything isn’t perfect but it hasn’t crashed for me yet, I’ve never been randomly disconnected or had to sit in a queue to join the server so I don’t really have any complaints. It’s also took Bioware less than a month to release the first patch, which is hopefully some indication that it’s going to be supported well going forward. I’ve no doubt that SWTOR is a game that will improve with time and it’s not bad to start with.

I also want to get in to Dustforce, which looks fantastic and I’ll no doubt be tinkering around on Frozen Synapse. Let me know if you fancy a game, I’m always up for a challenge.

What is that will be keeping you occupied? It’s a barren time of year as far as releases go so I guess it’s a fine a time as any to work through back catalogues. Or, of course, there’s always Skyrim.
