Battlefield 3 PC Patch Is Now Live!

Here comes EA’s second announcement of the day, this time from EA DICE and their craicing game Battlefield 3. As you may already know from my article earlier this week, the lucky sods who own a PS3 got their hands on the new BF3 patch on March 27th, as PC and Xbox fans watched on with envy as their patch had not even been announced yet.

Well, the wait is now over – at least for the PC gamers anyway – as EA DICE today announced that the BF3 PC patch is now live. We’re not too sure about what the situation is with the Xbox 360 patch, but there have been many comments suggesting that there has been no sign of it on the console as of yet. I imagine that the patch will be released before the day is out, but we will just have to wait and see.

But, if you’re a PC gamer and you own BF3, then go play! There’s lots of nice tweaks and updates that the patch has introduced that I’m sure will excite you, and when I say lots, I mean 1.6 GB worth.

    as i have the sexbox i dont have this patch yet but i am looking forward to my BF3 return i have missed the angry msgs over xbox because i killed them and they didnt no were i was haha sniper ftw.

    I’ve been playing BF3 this afternoon on my PC, and I can safely say that the game is now a lot more balanced. Still issues with the AS VAL, as I think that is far too OP, much like the Skorpion was in CoD4 – pretty much the same type of weapon too – but apart from that it’s a great patch with lots of noticeable tweaks to further improve on what was already a masterpiece of an FPS game.
