Fans of Rockstar games, and even more specifically the GTA franchise, are all clinging on in anticipation as their backsides are so close to slipping off the edge of their chairs. It’s a miracle that I’m able to type this without my arse dropping to the floor.

OXM today reported that Xbox Support reached out to one of their followers on Twitter today, in reply to the question everybody interested has been asking; when the balls is GTA 5 coming out!?

Xbox Support responded to that question with this reply; “The next title, Grand Theft Auto 5, will be out later this year.”

I’ll give you a moment to gather yourselves.

As OXM rightly said in their report, the fact that Xbox Support has withdrawn that reply pretty much nails-on the very possible fact that GTA 5 will indeed be with us all later this year. I mean, why else would they delete it? Sure, they may have deleted it to save their embarrassment when the game ends up coming out in Q1 2013, but I’m going to stick with my optimism and say that’s unlikely.

So, 2012 release it is then! I’m going to go right ahead and predict December. If I’m right though, then I should get the game for free. Yep. Nope.
